There's just something about fall that makes me want to spend all day in the kitchen, making a huuuuge pot of soup. The colder weather, cozy evenings and a warm homemade bowl of Ƨorba?? Yes, pleaaaase.

If you've been following my Turkish soup series, you probably already know that Türkiye has over 300 (!!) different soups and I've made it my mission to try as many as possible. And the more I discover, the more I fall in loooove with Turkish soup culture. From creamy yogurt-based soups to comforting, protein-packed lentil soups. There's just SO much variety.

So, with soup season officially here, I've gather 10 Turkish soup recipes that are perfect for all. Some are super easy, some are incredibly filling and others might be completely new to you.

1. Yüksük Ƈorbası – Turkish Dumpling Soup

If you love mantı (Turkish dumplings), you're going to LOVE this one! Yüksük çorbası comes from Adana and combines little Turkish dumplings with chickpeas in a delicious tomato and mint broth. It's hearty, comforting and surprisingly easy to make. Definitely one of my favourites from the soup series!

2. Nohutlu Ispanak Ƈorbası – Creamy Spinach & Chickpea Soup

Spinach and chickpeas in a creamy, comforting soup? YES! This Turkish soup brings together simple ingredients in a delicious broth and is such a lovely way to enjoy your greens. Perfect for those chilly days when you want something homemade and nourishing.

3. Tel Şehriye Ƈorbası – Turkish Vermicelli Soup

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the BEST. This Turkish vermicelli soup is made with tiny pasta noodles, tomato paste and dried mint. It's light, flavourful and incredibly easy to prepare. Perfect when you want a cozy bowl of soup without spending hours in the kitchen.

4. Lebeniye Ƈorbası – Turkish Yogurt Soup with Meatballs

This one is for all my creamy soup lovers! Lebeniye çorbası is a traditional soup from southeastern Türkiye, made with yogurt, little meatballs, chickpeas and rice. It's creamy, slightly tangy and packed with flavour. The mint and chili flakes make it even better!

5. Yoğurtlu Mantı Ƈorbası – Turkish Yogurt & Dumpling Soup

Imagine little Turkish dumplings in a warm, creamy yogurt soup. Sounds delicious, right? This is exactly the kind of comfort food I crave when the weather gets colder. If you're a fan of yogurt-based Turkish dishes and mantı, this is definitely one to add to your fall cooking list.

6. Yeşil Mercimek Ƈorbası – Turkish Green Lentil Soup

Lentils are such a staple in Turkish cooking, and for good reason! This green lentil soup is a wonderful option when you're craving something filling and comforting. A lovely way to turn simple pantry ingredients into a cozy homemade meal.

7. Tavuklu Tel Şehriye Ƈorbası – Turkish Chicken Vermicelli Soup

You know those days when you're feeling a little under the weather and all you want is a warm bowl of chicken soup? This is THAT soup. Made with shredded chicken, vermicelli, a rich broth and fresh parsley, it's comforting, flavourful and comes together in about 30 minutes. Don't forget a little lemon!

8. Ispanak Kiler Ƈorbası – Turkish Spinach Pantry Soup

Some soups are light, and then there's THIS one. Thick, creamy and SO filling! Made with wheat, green lentils, potatoes and spinach, this soup gets its creaminess from a yogurt mixture called terbiye. And the buttery mint and chili topping? SO GOOD. Perfect for the coldest fall days.

9. Dƶrt Kaşık Ƈorbası – Turkish Four Spoon Soup

Four spoons, one delicious soup! This traditional-style recipe gets its name from the four main ingredients: one spoon each of green lentils, red lentils, rice and wheat (or bulgur). Add a creamy yogurt mixture and a fragrant mint topping, and you've got yourself a seriously comforting bowl of soup. Simple ingredients, BIG flavour.

10. Mercimek Ƈorbası – Turkish Red Lentil Soup

We can't have a Turkish soup collection without mercimek Ƨorbası! This classic red lentil soup is inspired by the smooth, comforting bowls served in Turkish restaurants, also known as lokanta. It's one of those soups you can never get tired of. Serve it warm with a squeeze of lemon and enjoy!
